Anti-nuke demonstrations in comemoration of 2nd anniversary of the Fukushima disaster
Anti-nuke demonstrations in different cities are held on this weekend in comemoration of 2nd anniversary of the Fukushima disaster. Today, March 9, 2013, I joined a march in Kyoto with other AWC comrades. Total of around 3,500 people joined it.
In Tokyo on March 9, 2013, around 15,000 people took to the street to oppse nuclear powr plants and to comemorate the 2nd anniversary of the Fukushima disaster.
AWC-Japan people joined the rally against nuclear power plants in Osaka today, March 10, 2013. Our banner says 'No Nukes! No bases!'
Following the successful rally on March 9, another big anti-nuke demonstration was held on Tokyo on March 10, 2013. On last weekend, around 300 big and small anti-nuke events were held in different cities and towns in Japan.
